Sheep-ard’s Pie.
Let this Pie guide you to the light! It’s divine!!!
Preparation time: 20mins
Prepares: 4 main course
What you need:
1 onion, diced
1 tablespoon olive oil
500g chicken chunks
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 large carrot, diced
1 beef/chicken stock cube
1 tablespoon corn flour
1 teaspoon of honey
1 tablespoon tomato paste
pinch of salt and pepper
3 bay leaves
5 medium sized potato
1 stick butter
Meat base:
- Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the onion, garlic and carrot and cook until soft.
- Add chicken chunks and stock cube, then cook until the chicken is tender
- Stir in the tomato paste, bay leaves and honey.
- Leave to simmer and add the corn flour, stirring occasionally, for about fifteen minutes, or until thickened.
Potato Layer:
- Peel and chop potatoes and boil until soft
- Mash them with the butter and salt and pepper to taste.
Remove the bay leaves and then pour the filling into a deep dish, then top with the mashed potatoes. Bake for 20 mins at a temperature of 200 degrees.
Delicious topped with melted cheese. Enjoy!

Get ready to go down… SOUTH! Here’s one of OUR favorite dishes EVER.
Preparation time: 20 min
Baking time: 30 min
Prepares: 4 main course
What you need:1 ten inch round baking pan
4 large potatoes, sliced thinly
350g of shredded parmesan cheese
handful of oregano flakes
300g of whipping cream (also known as thicken cream)
100g milk
2 stalks of fresh chives, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste
sauce:
- heat pan and 1 tablespoon of oil.
- fry garlic till it browns lightly
- pour in the whipping cream, milk and chives, and bring to boil.
- add in 100g of cheese,chives, and salt and pepper to taste.
- lower the fire and allow the sauce to simmer for 5 mins.
combine:
- preheat oven at 200 dc
- get a 10 inch round baking pan
- grease the pan with butter
- lay 1 layer of potatoes
- sprinkle oregano leaves, some cheese, salt and pepper
- repeat the same for all layers
- pour sauce over potatoes and add a bit of cheese on the top for a nice finishing touch
- put the pan into the oven for 30 mins.
